Certified/Registered APT and
PTI Play Therapists
CACPT Porting Agreement
CACPT is pleased to announce
an exciting, time limited
opportunity for play
therapists who have achieved
Certification/Registration
status with APT or PTI and
who would like to become
Certified with CACPT. You
can become Certified with
CACPT without having to
formally apply for
certification, and the
certification fee will be
waived.
To take advantage of this
one-time only opportunity,
please follow the guidelines
below:
Please note that this
special Porting Agreement is
only in effect until
December 31, 2010.
1) If you are NOT
currently a member of CACPT,
please complete the CACPT
membership form (available
on the CACPT web site at
www.cacpt.com). Mail the
completed membership form to
CACPT, along with:
- provide proof ( a
copy) of your active
Certification/Registration
status with APT or PTI,
- a copy of education
transcripts (final
degree earned)
- Current CV
- one professional
reference
- and membership fee
($140 plus GST).
Once this is received and
processed by CACPT, you will
receive a CACPT membership
card that confirms your
membership with CACPT and
Certified status.
2) If you are
currently a member of CACPT,
you do not need to complete
a new membership form or pay
additional membership dues
at this time. Please submit
the following documents:
- provide proof (a
copy) of your active
Certification/Registration
status with APT or PTI
- a copy of education
transcripts (final
degree earned)
- Current CV
- one professional
reference
When you renew your
membership dues for 2010,
you will be charged the
membership fee for the
Certification category
($140). Once proof of your
Certification/Registration
status with APT or PTI is
received and processed by
CACPT, you will receive a
new CACPT membership card
that confirms your Certified
status.
We would like to
emphasize that those
individuals who have
obtained their
registered/certified
Supervisor status with
APT or PTI will be ported to
Certified Play
Therapist-Supervisor status
with CACPT.
** We encourage all
registered/certified
individuals (both regular
and supervisor status) with
APT and PTI to become
certified with CACPT during
this limited time period
when the Porting Agreement
is in effect. * |
