Membership
Membership
in The Canadian Association For Child and Play Therapy is
open to those:
- Principally
engaged in child psychotherapy and play therapy or
- Having
a direct or indirect interest in child psychotherapy in
fields of education, counseling, therapy, research, medicine,
law or the arts and literature. Former Graduates, Certified Psychotherapist Play
Therapist and Registered Play Therapy Associates have
first priority to attend workshops within the Play Therapy
Certificate Program at a minimal fee. This will support their Continual Education hours,
as well as for the Graduates, their certification/registration.

CACPT members receive a discount at all CACPT sponsored conferences,
workshops and other events.
CACPT
Play Therapy Program, is an intensive program and an
extended program.
2. Publications
CACPT members receive the Association's Playground periodicals
as a membership benefit.
3. Insurance
CACPT provides professional liability insurance packages for its members.
